Daily Outfit - Jen - 9/14/10

This morning, I thought this outfit was okay - I wanted something I didn't have to iron, that wasn't jeans, and that was comfortable. That much, I accomplished.

Immediately after I saw my outfit photos, I hated my outfit.

Now, I kind of like it. I'm a flip-flopper in heels!

I had lunch with Jarod today, and he managed to compliment my outfit 3 times in one hour. Specifically, he really seemed to love my slacks. I don't really care for them, but I'll take whatever compliment I can get.

Daily Outfit - Jen - 7/16/10

When I walked through the door after work, Jarod immediately commented on my outfit, which was crazy and unexpected. And then he kept commenting on it, even after I'd changed - that I looked "so pretty" and that it was his favorite of any of my work outfits he's seen, yet. That was a nice way to end a tough week, for sure.

Daily Outfit - Jen - 3/31/10

I don't want to jinx anything, but this week, if you haven't noticed, has been jean-free for me. It would be kind of embarrassing that my coworkers have been commenting on that fact were it not for my bloated self-esteem. And stomach. Oops!

Sorry about the photos - these were rushed as I am about to head out to a movie. New camera is being delivered on Friday. Hooray!

A few years ago, I walked into this adorable boutique in Williamsburg and saw the most wonderful necklace, ever. I remember special ordering this and feeling so fancy. When it arrived, I was not unlike my dogs at dinner. I maybe drooled. THAT FREAKING EXCITED.

I hadn't worn it in some time, because I guess I am sort of moron and did not realize how easy it is to clean tarnished silver jewelry. Bowl of warm water lined in aluminum foil + salt + maybe 30 seconds. It's seriously that easy.

Fear not - my slacks are not hemmed this short. Had to wade the waters for this picture, so you could see me in heels!

Daily Outfit - Jen - 1/18/10

I'm not going to lie. This is the first time I have not worn jeans to work. My boss probably suspects that I'm interviewing for another job or something. Our office is insanely casual - jeans, tennis shoes, sweatshirts, that sort of thing.

ANYWAY. Today, for your viewing pleasure, I got a little fancy and wore slacks. Maybe you're thinking, "Fancy?? Is she kidding?" In which case, excellent. Learn me!
