Daily Outfit - Jen - 01/26/11

Don't I look French, today! Except that a French woman would probably be a size 00, and I am a size... oh, what's that over there?

I had to ask my husband how these hats are worn. I am THAT clueless. This, my friends, is precisely why I blog on Two Closets. Hopefully I don't look too ridiculous, because that will be a total disservice to the superb craftsmanship of my darling Kate. This deep purple is my color, and she knew that when she was thinking of my cold head and hands. (Kate, I still can't believe you made these for stinkin' ole me! In awe of your talent! Love! Sorry for being so creepy when I called you! Should I move this conversation to email! Okay!)

I would be remiss if I didn't brag on these gorgeous earrings. You know how Kate is always wearing awesome jewelry that her cutie momma makes? Now I can wear awesome jewelry by her cutie momma, too! Thanks so much!

Tunic: H&M

Daily Outfit - Kate - 8/10/10

Today, it is too hot for smiling.

But apparently not too hot for GIANT PURSE-INDUCED SWEAT STAINS. Ugh.

You try riding a bike, in 100-degree heat, in a wool sweater*. Then tell me how you feel. Go ahead, I'll wait.

See?

Ahem. I love the way my earrings jingle as I coast down a bumpy hill.

Daily Outfit - Kate - 3/25/10

We were rushing this evening, so the photos are even crappier than usual. But that's OK, because this outfit was the epitome of laziness and comfort :-)

I originally put it together to wear with this new shawl I knitted, but then once I got it all on I realized - I really needed a darker color up at my neck. So I subbed in *another* shawl I knitted.

It's rough being me, you know.

Especially when I'm having a BAD FREAKING HAIR DAY.

Ever have days when you just want to cut your bangs OFF? Yes. Me too.

Cardigan: Old Navy, 2007 or 2008
Tee: GAP, 2008
Skirt: LLBean
Boots: LLBean
Shawl: pattern - Ishbel; yarn - Buffalo Gold Lux Lace
Earrings: mummy
Ring: Maple Leaf festival fall 2009

Daily Outfit - Kate - 3/19/10

I went back and forth about posting this outfit - yeah it's just another turtleneck + jeans + cowboy boots + shawl. But I've gotta be honest about the awesome outfits and the not-so-awesome ones, so here it is.

And even if my outfit wasn't the most creative, isn't my big blonde accessory adorable?

The outfit wasn't a total loss, though. I'm wearing my new Citron shawl, and I actually figured out a way to style this dinky little thing so it's not *completely* useless!

Love that little flower clip, and I'm glad to be able to wear it for its prettiness *and* usefulness!

Turtleneck: Target
Jeans: Levi's 518's
Boots: Ariat Legend in "Brown Oiled Rowdy"
Shawl: Citron, knitted by me
Clip: Denielly at that craft show last fall
Earrings: mum
