Daily Outfit - Jen - 02/12/11

I asked for season tickets to the ballet for the 2010-11 season, and because I'm loved (and persistent), I got 'em. I'm all about PDA, but with Valentine's Day upon us, there was an unusually high turnout of LOVERS at the ballet last night. You know what I am talking about. LOVERS are those people with tongues in throat, holding one another for prolonged periods of time, staring deeply into each other's eyes... in front of everybody. There were a couple of LOVERS sitting right in front of us, and we totally got 2 shows for the price of 1 last night.

Oh, yeah. This is what I wore.

Daily Outfit - Jen - 10/12/10

I woke up extra early this morning so that I could shave my legs and wear a pretty skirt. It wasn't until this evening when I was uploading these photos that I realized that I somehow ended up in jeans. It's like I'm on autopilot! I didn't even consciously decide to wear jeans. I need an intervention. Also, a Caramilk.

Thanks to Elaine for her belt tutorial!

Daily Outfit - Kate - 6/18/10

FRIDAY!!!! I'm so glad to see you! I thought you'd never get here!

Let's be in love forever.

I'm realizing only now that the unifying theme of this outfit is "ridiculously old". I've had the overshirt since I was about 13 or 14 (it was one of my first "grown up" shirts!), the tee since 2006ish, and the skirt since 2007. Same for the shoes. OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD.

That makes me happy :-)

Shirt: WalMart, circa 1999ish?
Tee: garage sale, circa 2006
Skirt: Levi's, from Goody's, 2007
Shoes: Dillards, 2007ish
Cuff: Fair Ophelia designs, Strange Folk Festival 2009
Earrings: mumsie

Daily Outfit - Kate - 2/17/10

Today's outfit ranked a solid "meh" for me. I like all the components, but I just wasn't feeling it. I think I'm tired of tights and always adjusting various layers.

Oops! Silly Kate! That's not your outfit for today, that's your apron made by Katie Mulder! Take it off so we can see your real outfit.

There we go, much better. I'm also noticing now that this doesn't look nearly as cute in photos as it does in person. Don't you hate that? I'm wearing a pink cami under that low-cut shirt and yes I know in this light it looks nonexistent but I promise you it's there. I am not a whore, Mom.

The shawl is my beloved Damson, and I less-than-three it hard. Again with the bad photos, but I promise you it looks really cute. Even worn over the shoulders in classic Granny fashion. Usually I wear it with the ends tucked under, mock-capelet style, but I didn't want to hide the lace on my top.

Skirt: Old Navy, 2009
Top: Urban Outfitters, 2009
Cami: Old Navy, 2008 (?)
Tights: Target
Boots: LLBean
Shawl: handknitted by YT
Earrings: brand new! from Mom :-)
