Daily Outfit - Jen - 03/10/11

So, it goes without saying that I love this tunic. I wear it probably once a week, no? Anyway, look at me! I changed it up! I was in love with this outfit. I am in love with this outfit. I'm going to wear it again soon, and you can't stop me.

Well, I guess you could stop me if you really wanted to, but look at my face. I am so happy! Would you really want to steal that joy from me? Really?

Daily Outfit - Jen - 02/25/11

I love a good Friday. That is to say I love when the week is over. In other words, I like not having to work. Gosh, do I really have to spell it out for you!

Daily Outfit - Jen - 01/26/11

Don't I look French, today! Except that a French woman would probably be a size 00, and I am a size... oh, what's that over there?

I had to ask my husband how these hats are worn. I am THAT clueless. This, my friends, is precisely why I blog on Two Closets. Hopefully I don't look too ridiculous, because that will be a total disservice to the superb craftsmanship of my darling Kate. This deep purple is my color, and she knew that when she was thinking of my cold head and hands. (Kate, I still can't believe you made these for stinkin' ole me! In awe of your talent! Love! Sorry for being so creepy when I called you! Should I move this conversation to email! Okay!)

I would be remiss if I didn't brag on these gorgeous earrings. You know how Kate is always wearing awesome jewelry that her cutie momma makes? Now I can wear awesome jewelry by her cutie momma, too! Thanks so much!

Daily Outfit - Jen - 01/20/11

As if you couldn't tell, I think this tunic is the best thing EVER. I wish I had one for every day of the week, because - who am I kidding - I practically wear this everyday.

It's perfect for a lazy day or a work day.
It's perfect for a skinny day or a bloaty day.
It's perfect for a warm day or a cold day.

I was really cold in this. Thank friends for scarves!

Daily Outfit - Jen - 01/10/11

Diggity dang. I went to bed last night with visions of how glorious I would look today, but then I put on my outfit this morning and it was horrendous. No, I mean, it was truly disgusting. I didn't want to be discouraged so I improvised, and this is the lackluster result.

Thankfully today was insanely cold, and I was bundled up in a scarf and peacoat all day.

Daily Outfit - Jen - 11/02/10

I have to apologize for the poor pictures. I got my wish for cooler weather (I was in a sweater earlier!), but it also decided to rain today which was awesome. Not. It was not awesome.

I voted today! No one saw my cute outfit, though. That's what happens when no one in your district votes. Plus side is that I didn't wait in line. See? There's good and bad in every situation!

Daily Outfit - Jen - 10/28/10

I'm going to pretend that today is Halloween and that I am a witch.

I just performed a memory spell, and you now have no recollection of this outfit.

What outfit?

Exactly.

Daily Outfit 10/07/10

I really want to buy a bunch of tunics and wear them everyday. I wanted to wear this one with tights and riding boots, but apparently it shrunk just enough to not cover my bootie. Oh, well. Not as cute with jeans, but still as comfortable.

I haven't seen my forehead in a really long time. Growing out bangs is awkward.

Daily Outfit - Jen - 9/27/10

For my birthday, I got a cool front. A cool front means that I will be in boots. HECK YES.

This is what I put together on this glorious Monday, and I felt soooooo comfortable and pretty in this. Like this outfit was me. I wish I could dress like this everyday. May I?

The Spoils: mostly Old Navy, and Daily Outfit - Kate - 8/29/10

EDIT - fixed the pictures!

I ran some errands yesterday. One of those errands involved Old Navy, and a 30% Friends and Family discount.

Good (read: bad) things happen when I run an errand in Old Navy. Especially with a discount in hand.

A purple wide-wale corduroy waistcoat happens, for example. As you shall see later.

Also, a new denim knee-length skirt happens:

It's so I don't have to wear the same one every day. Mix it up a bit!

And then there's an airy woven tunic thingy:

($8.99 on clearance!)

Oh, and a cute little ruffled henley:

Look at me, all explorin' outside the box! Shaddup. It's a big step. For me.

And because we can't be *too* adventurous, we end up in Grey Cardigan Land.

But it fits perfectly, and was only $7!

Why buy one cardigan, when you can buy *two*?!

This one is different, though. 'Cause it's purple. And lace. And cropped. And $11.

After leaving Old Navy, I decided to inflict some damage at the adjacent Marshall's. To the tune of $7 pumps:

Which I wore today and... ::shudder::. Glad I didn't pay more than $7 for them!

Oh, and a Talbots skirt:

It may not look like much now, but I can tell ya that it's the *perfect* length to pair with these beauties.

Ssh! Don't tell Jeff I'm already planning outfits, OK?

Goodwill was my last stop, and I tried on a *bunch* of stuff but only came away with one item:

We shall see. It's a bit tight, and it needs a slip, but that grey floral print is just so charming, and the color's so bright and cheery! Worth a shot at $2, yes?

::contented sigh::

Oh! I almost forgot! Sunday night I had a work function to attend, and it was really casual. So I test-drove a couple of my new pieces:

I felt like major hotness!

Yeah, this one will definitely be repeated at some point.

Daily Outfit - 6/15/10

Now, I don't want to name any names, but someone in the following pictures needs to pull her tunic down before having her picture taken.

This is one of my Seoul H&M finds. When I tried it on in the dressing room, I loved it and put it in my "buy" pile. When I got home and put it on for work one morning, I realized that it was pretty ding dang dong short. You can't really tell in these photos, because my husband is a giant. Anyway! So, I finally decided to pair it with tights to make it work-appropriate, and voila.
